Rounding Off 2019 With A Busy Festive Period

The festive period is a busy one for everyone, with no end of parties, presents and of course, mince pies!
However, at Quattro Plant we were busy with much more that unwrapping presents. Throughout the entire Christmas and New Year period, we were hard at work up and down the country, delivering key works across the network to help ensure that Network Rails essential winter maintenance works helped stay on track.
Across the country, 20,560 railway staff worked hard on over 380 projects over the festive period, delivering £111m worth of railway upgrades, delivering a better and more reliable service to passengers and freight operators in 2020 and beyond.
Quattro Plant teams were hard at work over Christmas, in a major project on tracks leading into Euston station, delivering a signalling maintenance project.

New Year’s Eve didn’t see our teams partying either. Instead we had a busy evening ahead of us, bringing in 2020 with important works across the UK.
