This week sees the end of a ten-day possession at Sandilands Tunnel, part of London Croydon Tramlink, where Quattro Plant was pleased to support T Loughman Ltd with three MEWPs and a Doosan to facilitate jet washing and waterproofing works.

The tunnel, with its original Victorian brickwork, provided the backdrop for a busy ten-day blockade, with teams working around the clock, including weekends.

Quattro's Doosan played a key role in getting the job done, transporting all the necessary equipment into the tunnel, including jet washes, generators and IBCs full of water. Today marks its final day on site, removing the remaining equipment ahead of the track being handed back on Friday.

Lee Bridgeman, Quattro Plant Senior Contracts Manager, said:

"The job was completed successfully with no accidents or incidents, and everybody was home safe. It was an excellent team effort."

John Murphy, Quattro Managing Director, added:

"There's a lot of work that goes into keeping these old Victorian structures in service, and thankfully the Q-Army was able to assist in seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!"

Thanks to T Loughman Ltd for trusting Quattro to support the project and to the extended team for their hard work.
