16 new Volvo vehicles boost the transport fleet

Quattro Group is delighted to have taken delivery of sixteen new Volvo FH16-750 6×2 tag axle tractor units, as a boost to the organisations existing nationwide transport fleet.
The vehicles are powered by Volvo’s modern D16K Euro-6 engine, producing 750hp and 3550Nm of torque, and come fully equipped with I-Shift Crawler gearboxes, single reduction drive axles with a ratio of 3.40:1 and range-topping Globetrotter XL cabs.
Committed to delivering safety, reliability and efficiency across the entire Quattro Group, the new vehicles will play a big part in not only meeting customer requirements, but also driving safety changes within the transport fleet.
The FH16-750s are fitted with additional strobe and spotlights for increased visibility, together with a Side Scan system to detect vulnerable road users or pedestrians. Along with additional forward facing and nearside cameras, the driver has a clear view of the road around them, allowing them to prioritise safety at all times.
John Murphy, Managing Director of Quattro Group commented:
‘Our continuing partnership with Volvo demonstrates the joint commitment of both parties to provide and use the latest and best vehicles available to ensure our fleet is delivered in a safe, environmentally-friendly and efficient manner.’
