Quattro Commits To Climate Action

Earlier this year Quattro Plant Ltd was the first rail plant company to sign up to Science Based Targets. This is a global initiative of two thousand companies spanning sixty countries and nearly fifty sectors to reduce emissions to 1.5°C by 2030 and net zero by 2050.
Quattro Plant is making significant progress at its specialist Research and Development centre in Devon. Opened in 2019, the Quattro engineers have been set a specific focus to target a greener future for the company.
Bob Browning, Head of Corporate Strategy:
‘We are currently trialling alternative fuels and testing machine standards using alternative power across the fleet. These are just some of the ways that will bring our plant emissions down at a faster rate. There will be more news on these developments in the coming months.’
